Section 02

Eligibility and age

Wattly services are intended for users aged 12 years and older.

Users under the age of 18, or under the applicable age of legal majority, may use Wattly only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by law. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for the minor's account, rentals, charges, payments, and compliance with these Terms.

If applicable law requires a higher minimum age or does not permit a minor to enter into a rental or payment agreement, the higher legal requirement applies. You confirm that the information you provide about your eligibility is accurate.

Section 03

Account registration and security

You may register through the Wattly mobile application or the Wattly H5/PWA version at https://cdb.wattly.id/h5new/.

Depending on the available features, registration or sign-in may use an email address, Google account, Apple account, or another supported authentication method.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate, current, and complete account information;
  • keep your device, account, sign-in methods, and credentials secure;
  • notify Wattly promptly if you suspect unauthorized access; and
  • accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Each person should use their own account. You must not create accounts using false information or another person's identity without authorization.

Section 04

The Wattly rental service

Wattly provides time-based rentals of portable power banks through participating Wattly stations. A power bank remains Wattly property or the property of an authorized Wattly partner unless Wattly expressly confirms otherwise in writing.

Station locations, available slots, power bank availability, connector types, device capacity, charging performance, and operating hours may vary. Information displayed in the application is provided for convenience and may change due to current station status, connectivity, maintenance, or third-party venue access.

Section 05

Starting and accepting a rental

A rental generally begins when you:

  • sign in to Wattly;
  • scan the QR code on a participating station;
  • review the location-specific price and payment information;
  • confirm the rental and payment method; and
  • receive a power bank from the station.

You must review the price confirmation screen before accepting. By confirming the rental, you authorize the applicable rental charges and agree that charging starts when the power bank is released or the rental is recorded as started in Wattly's system.

If a power bank is not released but the application shows an active rental or payment, contact Wattly support promptly and provide the station location, time, and any available screenshot.

Section 06

Pricing and rental calculation

Rental prices may vary by station or location. The price displayed after scanning the station QR code and before rental confirmation is the applicable price for that rental. If the displayed price differs from the standard example below, the displayed and accepted price controls.

Rental period Current standard charge How it applies
First hour IDR 10,000 Charged from the start of the rental.
After the first hour, within the first daily period Additional IDR 40,000 Brings the total charge for the first daily period to IDR 50,000.
Each following daily period IDR 50,000 per day Continues while the power bank has not been returned.
Maximum accumulated charge IDR 600,000 Rental charging stops when the accumulated amount reaches this replacement-value cap.

There is no grace period after the start of a rental. Charges continue according to the applicable hourly and daily rates until the power bank is successfully returned or until accumulated charges reach IDR 600,000, whichever occurs first.

Maximum charge: When accumulated rental charges reach IDR 600,000, no further rental charges will accrue for that power bank. Reaching the cap does not authorize continued use and does not automatically transfer ownership. The power bank must still be returned unless Wattly confirms otherwise.
Section 07

Payments, authorization, and balance

Wattly may support cards, bank payments, QR payments, electronic wallets, stored Wattly balance, or other methods made available by Wattly or its payment providers. Available methods may vary by location, account, or transaction.

By selecting a payment method, you:

  • confirm that you are authorized to use it;
  • authorize Wattly and its payment providers to process rental charges and other amounts due;
  • agree to provide sufficient funds or balance; and
  • understand that payment providers may apply their own terms and security checks.

A Wattly top-up balance is generally non-transferable and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law, where a duplicate or erroneous transaction is confirmed, or where Wattly agrees otherwise. Remaining balance may be used for future rentals while the account remains active and eligible.

If payment fails or the available balance is insufficient, the unpaid amount remains due. Wattly may restrict new rentals, account features, or account deletion until the outstanding amount is paid in full.

Section 08

Multiple simultaneous rentals

A user may rent a maximum of two power banks at the same time, subject to device availability, account eligibility, risk controls, and sufficient balance or payment authorization.

The second rental may require available funds or balance equal to at least twice the amount required for the first rental. Each power bank is treated as a separate rental and is charged until that specific power bank is successfully returned or reaches its applicable maximum charge.

Section 09

Returning a power bank

You may return a rented power bank to a compatible, operational Wattly station with an available return slot. Insert the power bank correctly and confirm that the station accepts and locks it.

A return is complete only when:

  • the station has physically accepted and locked the power bank; and
  • the rental status is recorded as completed in the Wattly system.

A sound from the station may help confirm return, but you should also check the rental status in the application. Leaving a power bank near a station, with venue staff, or in a slot that did not accept and lock it is not a completed return.

If the station is offline, full, switched off, damaged, or does not confirm the return, do not leave the power bank unattended. Use another operational Wattly station or contact support promptly. Provide the station location, return time, rental details, and a photograph where possible.

Section 10

Non-return, loss, and damage

If a power bank is not returned, rental charges continue daily under Section 6 until the power bank is successfully returned or the accumulated amount reaches IDR 600,000.

If the maximum amount is reached first, Wattly may treat the unit as unreturned or lost for operational and accounting purposes. The accumulated amount remains payable. Payment of the maximum amount does not permit continued possession, resale, transfer, modification, or misuse of the power bank.

You are responsible for reasonable care of the power bank during the rental. If it is deliberately damaged, opened, altered, submerged, burned, stolen due to your failure to take reasonable care, or used contrary to these Terms, Wattly may charge documented repair or replacement costs to the extent permitted by law. Wattly will avoid duplicate recovery for the same loss.

Report a lost, stolen, damaged, overheating, or unsafe power bank immediately and stop using it where safe to do so.

Section 11

User responsibilities and prohibited use

You agree to:

  • use Wattly and each power bank lawfully and for its intended charging purpose;
  • follow safety instructions displayed in the application, station, or device;
  • inspect the power bank for obvious damage before use and report any problem promptly;
  • keep the power bank reasonably secure and return it without avoidable delay;
  • pay all valid charges associated with your account; and
  • cooperate reasonably with investigations of failed returns, payment disputes, or damaged equipment.

You must not:

  • open, dismantle, repair, modify, relabel, sell, pledge, or transfer a Wattly power bank;
  • bypass payment, station, account, security, or rental controls;
  • scan, access, or interfere with another person's account or rental;
  • use Wattly for fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, or commercial redistribution;
  • introduce malware, disrupt the service, or attempt unauthorized access; or
  • continue using a device that appears swollen, leaking, excessively hot, or otherwise unsafe.
Section 12

Service availability and maintenance

Wattly aims to provide reliable service, but availability is not guaranteed at every location or time. Stations, power banks, payment methods, maps, authentication, internet connections, and third-party systems may be unavailable, delayed, or interrupted.

Wattly may maintain, repair, relocate, add, remove, disable, or replace stations and service features. We may temporarily limit service where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, fraud prevention, safety, or operational reasons.

Section 13

Refunds and payment corrections

Rental charges are generally non-refundable after a valid rental has started. This does not limit any refund or remedy required by applicable consumer protection law.

You may request review where:

  • payment was duplicated;
  • payment was completed but no power bank was released;
  • a confirmed return was not correctly recorded;
  • a technical error caused an incorrect charge; or
  • another refund right applies under mandatory law.

Contact support promptly and provide the account phone number or email, transaction identifier, station location, date and time, and relevant screenshots or photographs. Wattly may verify station and transaction logs before deciding the request. Approved refunds are returned through an available method and may be subject to payment-provider processing time.

Section 14

Service communications

You agree that Wattly may send necessary communications about verification, account security, rental status, ongoing or overdue rentals, payment status, return confirmation, safety, support, and material changes to the service or these Terms.

Messages may be delivered through the application, push notification, email, WhatsApp, voice call, or another available channel. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current. Marketing messages are handled separately and may be declined where required by law.

Section 15

Privacy and personal data

Wattly processes personal data as described in the Wattly Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains the categories of data collected, purposes of processing, disclosures, international transfers, retention, security, user rights, and account deletion rules.

The Privacy Policy forms part of the legal framework governing your use of Wattly but remains a separate document from these Terms.

Section 16

Suspension, termination, and account deletion

Wattly may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary because of unpaid charges, suspected fraud, unsafe conduct, unauthorized access, misuse, legal requirements, repeated violations, or a material breach of these Terms.

Where appropriate and permitted, Wattly will provide information about the restriction and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect users, equipment, payment systems, or service security.

You may delete your account through the Wattly mobile application or Wattly H5/PWA version only when the account has no outstanding debt, unpaid rental charge, or other amount due. If an outstanding amount exists, you must pay it in full before the account deletion function becomes available.

Account deletion does not cancel charges or obligations that arose before deletion. Records may be retained where required for payment, taxation, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, debt recovery, or legal compliance.

Section 17

Intellectual property

Wattly and its licensors own or lawfully use the Wattly name, logos, application, software, website, station designs, graphics, text, databases, and other service content.

Wattly grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, scrape, or exploit the service or its content except where applicable law expressly permits.

Section 18

Warranties and limitation of liability

Wattly provides the services with reasonable care and skill. However, to the extent permitted by law, the services are provided on an "as available" basis, and Wattly does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or freedom from every technical error.

Wattly is not responsible for losses caused solely by unsupported devices, poor mobile connectivity, third-party venue closure, unauthorized account use resulting from your failure to protect credentials, or use of a visibly damaged power bank after a clear warning.

To the extent permitted by law, Wattly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed by mandatory law.

Mandatory rights remain protected. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any non-waivable right or remedy under Indonesian consumer protection law.
Section 19

Force majeure

Wattly is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, telecommunications failure, widespread power failure, payment-network outage, or disruption of essential third-party infrastructure.

Wattly will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of such an event and restore affected services when practicable.

Section 20

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and your use of Wattly are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including applicable consumer protection and electronic transaction requirements.

If a concern arises, please contact Wattly first and provide sufficient details so that we can investigate. The parties will attempt to resolve the matter in good faith. If it cannot be resolved, either party may use the competent consumer dispute body, regulator, or court available under applicable Indonesian law.

Section 21

Changes and general provisions

Wattly may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, prices, operations, law, security, or third-party integrations. Updated Terms will be published with a revised "Last Updated" date. Where required by law or where a change materially affects users, Wattly may provide additional notice before the change takes effect.

Price changes apply prospectively and do not change the price already accepted for an active rental, unless required by law or expressly agreed by the user.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Wattly's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the accepted rental price, and applicable policies form the agreement relating to the Wattly service.

Wattly may assign or transfer its rights and obligations as part of a lawful reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of business, provided mandatory user rights remain protected. Users may not transfer an account or rental without Wattly's consent.
