1. GENERAL

What is Wattly?

Wattly provides a practical and innovative solution for charging your device battery wherever

you are. With Wattly, you no longer need to worry about running out of battery during your

trip without having to search for a charging station to recharge your device. Through a

user-friendly app, you can quickly and easily borrow a power bank from various Wattly

machines located in strategic locations.

What types of devices can be used with Wattly?

Wattly has three types of charger connectors, including:1. Micro USB

2. USB Type-C

3. Apple Lightning

You can charge smartphones, AirPods, headphones, e-cigarettes, handheld game players,

and other mobile devices using Wattly.

How much power does 1 unit of Wattly have?

Using fast-charging technology, 1 unit of Wattly has a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

2. APPLICATION AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Do I need an app to rent a Wattly?

Yes, Wattly power bank rentals are done using an app that can be easily downloaded from

Google Play Store and App Store under the name Wattly.

In certain situations, can I rent without using the app?

Yes, of course! In certain situations, you can rent a Wattly through the website at

https://wattly.id/ or by clicking the following link.

Do I need to register?

Yes, you only need a phone number and email to register a Wattly account.

What if I do not receive the verification code?

First, please double-check that the number used for registration is correct and ensure that it is registered with SMS, as the OTP code will be sent SMS.

Also, check the signal strength while registering; if it still has not been sent, you can contact the admin for further information.

3. RENTAL TERMS

Can I rent more than 1 power bank from 1 Wattly machine?

You can rent a maximum of two power banks at the same time from one rental machine. The second power bank rental requires a balance that is at least twice the amount needed for the first rental.

When do I need to return the Wattly unit that I rented?

Make sure to rent according to the amount of balance you have. If your balance is insufficient and you have finished using the power bank, you can immediately return the power bank to the nearest Wattly location.

Why does the rental in the app still show as ongoing when the power bank has already been returned?

There are several things that may cause the rental to still show as ongoing:

(a) The machine may have been off when you returned it, so please ensure the machine is on during the return.

(b) There may be internet connectivity issues. Please report to Wattly admin if you have returned the power bank but it still shows as ongoing in the app. Try to include a photo of the machine that had issues during the power bank return.

What will happen if I do not return the power bank unit that I borrowed?

For rentals longer than 24 hours, a maximum daily rate will be charged once, and you will not be able to make a new rental until the unit is returned or you report the loss to our customer service. If the unit is lost, a replacement compensation fee will be applied.

After that, we will provide a grace period of 14 days from the time of rental; if exceeded, the unit will be considered lost, and the user will incur a replacement compensation fee.

This replacement compensation fee is set at IDR 150,000 and may vary in the future.

Therefore, the maximum fee that can be charged is:

1x maximum daily rate + 1x replacement compensation fee.

4. FEES AND PAYMENT METHODS

What is the rental cost of Wattly per hour?

The rental cost of the Wattly power bank is calculated per hour starting from when the power bank is taken out of the machine.

Wattly offers flexible hourly rentals starting at just IDR 5,000 per hour. For greater convenience and readiness at airports, we’ve set adjusted rates: IDR 10,000/hour at domestic terminals and IDR 15,000/hour at international terminals.

To start a rental, users simply maintain a minimum balance on their account. The requirement is IDR 25,000 at standard locations and IDR 50,000 at airport stations, in accordance with applicable regulations

How do I rent a Wattly?

Here is how to rent a Wattly:

1. Download the Wattly app from the Play Store or iOS Store, search for “Wattly.”

2. Register by entering your phone number, name, and email address.

3. Log in to the Wattly app and top up your balance: select the amount to top up, then choose your payment method. There are two options: using a credit card or a QR code.

4. For payment with a credit card, follow the instructions to complete the payment.

5. If you choose to pay with a QR code, a QR code will appear. Save it to your gallery.

6. Open a payment app that supports QR code payments, upload the QR code, and make the payment.

7. Once your balance is topped up, return to the Wattly app.

8. Click the “Scan QR Code” button and scan the barcode on the machine.

9. Confirm the rental price and click “Continue” if you agree.

10. The power bank will be released from the slot.

11. Take and use it (three cables are available: Android, Apple, and Micro USB).

12. After you are done, return it to an empty slot in the machine, ensuring you hear the

“Return Success” sound, and confirm that the rental status in the app shows as completed.

Can the funds that have been topped up in the Wattly app be transferred back to my account?

Basically, topping up the Wattly balance is like recharging a SIM card, so the remaining balance cannot be refunded. However, the remaining balance can be used for future rentals as long as it has not expired.

Is the rental cost of Wattly the same for every location?

The rental cost of the Wattly power bank varies by location. The rental prices can be seen on the price confirmation page after scanning the barcode and before confirming the rental transaction.

5. LOCATIONS

Where can I rent a Wattly?

Wattly locations are generally available in various public places such as airports, campuses, retail stores, apartments, food courts, malls, cafes, restaurants, and many other locations.

Wattly is spread across various areas in Jabodetabek, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Malang, Surabaya, and at airports such as Soekarno Hatta, Sam Ratulangi Manado, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar, Ahmad Yani Semarang, Adi Soemarmo Boyolali, Yogyakarta International Airport, Juanda, Pattimura Ambon Airport, Syamsudin Noor Banjarmasin, Kupang, Biak Papua, and Jayapura.

You can check the complete list of locations using the location feature in the Wattly app, as Wattly locations continue to expand regularly.

While you use the Wattly app, we will collect, store, and process your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

However, you are also responsible for keeping your account information confidential, including your password.

USE OF SERVICES

  • You agree to use the Wattly services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms of service and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • You must not use our services to engage in illegal, misleading, or harmful activities.
  • You are prohibited from disrupting or attempting to disrupt the operation of our services, including by transmitting viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • You are responsible for transactions that occur using your account, including when you make transactions on behalf of others.

UPDATES AND CHANGES

We reserve the right to change or update these terms of service at any time without prior notice.

Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our app or website.

By continuing to use our services after such changes, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to the updated terms.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content available in the Wattly app, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Wattly or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws and other intellectual property rights.

You are not permitted to copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce such content without our written permission.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Wattly services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, either express or implied.

We are not liable for any losses or damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.

We do not guarantee that our services will be free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components.
